    Toronto International Film Festival - September 7 - 16

So I'm guessing you folks have heard that Karan Johar, Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukherji, and Amitabh Bachchan will be making an appearance....let stalking begin

    Sunday, September 10
    1:30 PM NEVER SAY GOODBYE
    Director: Karan Johar

NEVER SAY GOODBYE is an irresistibly entertaining love story. An ideal choice for our first ever Bollywood gala, it’s filled with huge stars, sweeping romance, comedy, heartache and dazzling musical numbers – all in one epic package. Dev (Shah Rukh Khan) is a New York-based soccer player married to hotshot magazine editor Rhea (Preity Zinta). They appear to be the picture of success and happiness. So do Rishi (Abhishek Bachchan) and Maya (Rani Mukherji), although Maya’s inability to bear children does put some strain on the marriage. However, a chance meeting between Maya and Dev sets these two couples on a collision course

Isn't this that movie that is out now in Indian theatres?

Abhi won't be here (he is shooting for Dhoom). I've seen the movie but any chance to see Amitabh up close I am taking.

Where are the bandar promoters? I hope they are on top of this trying to arrange the after party.

At this point you have to buy coupons. Then on the 29th, you can pick up the book (film titles, times etc) and make your choices. then submit. wait for the draw to see if you got your choices. then go pick up your tickets. then go to the show.

single tickets for 1 film, I BELIEVE, can be bought the day of the showing?? You better check on that, though.

Last year, I got all but one of my first choices. You cannot predict the odds though, because it's done by lottery. if your bin is opened first, for example, you'll get all your shows. if it's opened last, you may not. no guarantees at the festival. i remember one time siskel or eibert got snubbed and couldn't get into a show they wanted. it was crazy!

Sky lady. Did you hear about the flight from Amsterdam to Mumbai that got diverted back to Amsterdam due to 11 ruffians. Do you have the scoop on the inside?

I'm not sure. My instinct is to say no. But check on their website. I find looking at movies on line is really difficult. Because you have to find the movie, look at it's code, find the code, check for date/time. I prefer the old fashioned book. But, check the website. I think it's something like www.tiff.com
